The HR Assistant is a detail-oriented individual with entry level knowledge and/or interest in Human Resources.
They are proactive and have the ability to process multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
We're looking for an assistant to perform clerical work and administrative duties for the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities:
? Assist with clerical work such as data entry, maintaining employee files, processing employee paperwork, and obtaining signatures.
? Respond to employee inquiries at the HR service window.
? Assist the HR/Payroll Manager with the annual open enrollment process (collect and organize enrollment forms).
? Partners with the company safety team to ensure employees are following safety procedures.
? Assist employees through the Workers Compensation process by driving them to the clinic if needed and providing the necessary paperwork for OSHA reporting.
? Assist with coordinating safety training sessions.
? Performs all other duties as assigned.
Skills and
Qualifications:
? Valid Driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
? Bilingual in Spanish required.
? Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field, preferred, not required.
? 0-1 years of experience supporting Human Resources functions and/or worker's compensation.
? Attention to detail and customer service skills.
? Ability to multitask and prioritize work tasks.
? Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).

T-Y Nursery is a volume grower and produces everything from 1 gallons to 36 inch boxes and ships all across the United States, with our primary markets being Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico.
